ROWLEY VILLAGE ROWLEY REGIS

About Me

My Grandfather, John Fredric Jones, was born December 1, 1879 in Rowley Regies, in the County of Stafford. His parents names where Samuel and Harriet Jones. Samuel was a Chain Maker. Soon after John Fredric was born, his father Samuel (my Great Grandfather), came to the USA, in Chicago. He worked and saved his money untill he had enough to bring my Great Grandmother Harriet, & my Grandfather Samuel, my Grandfater John Fredric and Uncle George, to the States. The day finally came for them to set sail to America. They settled in Trenton, New Jersey, where my father (John Wesley Jones) grew up. The family moved to Point Pleasant, New Jersey. And that's where I was born and raised. I love looking at the pictures of Cradley Heath, and reading about the history of the area! I know that 'Jones" is such a comon name, I'm hoping that someone will read this and know something about the Jones family. I do know that my Great Grandfather left a few sisters behind, but I have no other information about this. I would truely appreciate any information or suggestions of a web site to go to search. Thanks!  :)
