ROWLEY VILLAGE ROWLEY REGIS

About Me

I am not as young as that now!!!  Anyway,.  I am married, 7 children and 7 grandchildren.  I began researching my family history about 8 years ago.  I have only just discovered that my g.g.g.grandparents came from Staffordshire, and in fact my g.g.g.grandfather was a boot and shoe maker in Rowley Village!!  He was buried at the parish church.  His name was John Bennett, and was listed in the Parsons and Radshaw Directory for 1818, and also Piggotts Directory for 1835.  He died in 1845.  He was married to Mary (?) - haven't been able to find her surname yet!!
